01 / THE STORY

Bio.

Perro Actor, the moniker of singer-songwriter Jorge Galindo, writes music shaped by distance. Raised in Puebla, Mexico, Jorge's folk-rooted sound has been reshaped over years of living and performing abroad, carrying traces of stages from the Netherlands to Nigeria to Berlin.

His first EP, *Rio Frio*, was recorded in Mexico in 2014, followed by a double single released out of Berlin in 2023.

Now based in Geneva, Jorge teamed up with bassist Paul Aspell, a seasoned player who pushes the sound toward rock, and recently drummer Michel GB, rounding out Perro Actor as a trio.

The group have played many tens of concerts in multiple countries over the years. These have ranged from small intimate acoustic concerts to full festival rock stages. The sound could be described as stripped-down, 90s-leaning alternative folk-rock with a melancholic edge, carried by vocals that shift from tidal calm to sudden, explosive release. ‎
